Q&A: Why can’t I find a website that list government grants for free? Where can I find a list of free legit grants?

Everywhere I look I’m being charged just to get a list of these grants. I’ve call my state directory, and they can’t give me any info either? Where should I go? No wonder there is so much money left over, its almost impossible finding these grants. I just dont want to pay for a list of outdated and expired grants over the internet.

I have to add that I am 22 years old, work full-time and go to school on-line. I’ve been to the Fastweb and others like it, but cannot find what I am looking for. And when I look up government grants all I can find are these sites that want me to order stuff. I am at a lost and really need help finding money for school. Can anyone suggest anything?
