I was reading the same thing, minus where it was being filmed or rumored to be.

@Rawk4Life At our school football players give weekly progress reports to the head coach year-round. If their grades aren’t up to par they don’t play and have extra proctices until their grades come up.

@kvt7280 i read somewhere they are filming it in Quebec Canada,and its coming out in 2011. 3 cast members have returned in Emilio Estevez (Bombay) Joshua Jackson(Charlie) and Elden Radcliffe (Fulton). If someone can confirm this that woud be great. I dont think theres been a decent hockey movie since the ducks franchise ended

they can’t get a d4 w/o bombay so its hard to do one.
they should make D4, the NHL
actually banks got put on varsity because he is a really good player, always has been in the movie.
I don’t know if other high schools do this in real life, but the Ducks’ coach in this movie said if any of the players had lower than a B average, they’d be riding the bench.

hey there poopdecay. to answer your question:
1. I used a shotgun microphone to record the dialogue, not the crappy microphone on the camera. So all the dialogue was recorded at the same level of volume, and clean.
2. I edited on Final Cut Pro, which has a separate audio track and video track. This allows you to blend audio from different takes together to avoid that “cut off” quality you described. Good luck!
