Can you answer ’s question?:
Im looking for someone who HAS ACTUALLY gone through with applying for a govnt grant (not a loan) and writing a proposal….how can I learn more about this. The grants.gov website is hard to navigate and my main concern is actually locating the specific grant I need to apply for.. Thanks for your help.

You can go to the Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) http://www.cfda.gov and Grants.gov http://www.grants.gov – these are two sites created by the federal government to provide transparency and information on grants. Browse through the listings and see if you can find any grant that would support home repairs. And This link below contains ALL the program information you need to apply and get things rolling

    Good luck to you!
