How do I go about finding and applying for educational grants?

I applied through a place called MGR (my grant resources) but every thing seemed a little odd. So I looked through the BBB and couldn’t find them listed and every where else I searched, it said it was a scam. So I decided not to go with that and have been trying to find real government grants and am still unsuccessful. I’m not very good at researching so if anyone could help me out on where to go or how to apply or what information I need or anything it would be greatly appreciated!!

By the way you have to know what school you want to go to when you apply for this. After you apply you have to check with the SCHOOL to see what you got!
