I want to attend Western Kentucky University this spring and I am trying to finance my education. I want to become an elementary school teacher. I am aware that there are grants for teaching, such as the WIA program. However, the WIA program will only provide $4,000 each year, which isn’t enough for me to go to school and stay in a dorm. I have to have a dorm, because I have nowhere to live while I’m in school.

My husband is a veteran and full-time student at a major university. He doesn’t have the time to work, so I have to pick up the slack.
