Q&A: I used grants to pay for school – what happens to the remaining credits I haven’t used?

Can you answer ♥ Laurraaa’s question?:
I used grants to pay for school this semester (not loans, all grants). I still have about 0 left over after tuition and books, and my school credited it to a checking account connected to the debit card that the school gives it’s students at the beginning of the year. Does this mean that the left over funds are mine to decide what to use them for?

Thanks!

Yes, the money is yours to spend or save as you choose.

colleges.mywebcommunity.org – it provides some tips about applying to US federal and state grants for college students.
